Senior Architectural Design Coordinator

About the role

Nova Global is looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Design Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary coordination on complex building projects. You will act as the central hub between external consultants, architects, structural and MEP engineers, contractors, and site teams, ensuring technical accuracy and constructability.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings, specifications, BIM models, and IFC packages.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, missing information, and constructability issues.
• Coordinate practical solutions across all disciplines and maintain action trackers, review comments, and coordination logs.
• Lead design‑coordination meetings, review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and as‑built documents.
• Participate in BIM clash‑detection reviews and support value engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and site teams.
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance with approved drawings, local regulations, and international standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2–3 years in design coordination or technical‑office work.
• Experience on large‑scale projects such as stadiums, hospitals, airports, universities, hotels, shopping centres, or mixed‑use developments.
• Proven ability to coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines and work with consultants, contractors, and project managers.
• Familiarity with fast‑track projects, international standards, and preferably experience in Libya or similar markets.
