Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to work remotely worldwide. In this role you will evaluate, label, and improve software engineering datasets that are used to train AI models and large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets for AI training.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label datasets covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance model performance.
• Ensure compliance with annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Prior experience in data annotation, AI training, or code review.
• Strong programming background in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Basic knowledge of AI, machine learning, or large language models is a plus.
• Ability to compare multiple AI‑generated responses and rank them by accuracy and usefulness.
• Experience with annotation platforms or labeling tools.
