About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support its Libya Mission. Working under the Supply Chain Officer and in close collaboration with project managers, the associate will help ensure the efficient procurement and logistics needed for humanitarian operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing procurement and logistical activities for humanitarian projects.
- Maintain and organise systems and procedures for the procurement, supply and contracting of goods, works and services.
- Handle documentation, equipment upgrades, insurance management and customs clearance, including government paperwork.
- Control assets and support the supply chain team with procurement requests.
Required profile
- Experience or academic background in supply chain, procurement or logistics.
- Ability to work under the supervision of the Supply Chain Officer and coordinate with project managers.
- Willingness to operate within a humanitarian mission environment.
