AI Trainer – LLM & Generative AI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help develop and refine large language models and generative AI systems. The role is fully remote and involves working closely with engineers and product teams to improve model performance across a range of tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage end‑to‑end training workflows, including supervised fine‑tuning (SFT), reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), and red‑team exercises.
• Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios to evaluate model performance in coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
• Define and maintain rubrics for model output quality.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of model failures, bias, hallucinations, and logical errors.
• Create high‑quality “golden datasets” that set standards for model behavior.
• Guide and review junior trainers and annotators to ensure consistency.
• Maintain detailed documentation of training methodologies and iterative improvements.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable training tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose improvements to annotation and evaluation tools.
• Design and implement synthetic data generation strategies to enhance model robustness.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field such as software engineering or computer science.
• Strong analytical ability to dissect complex problems and identify patterns in data.
• Comfortable reading technical papers and staying updated on AI safety research.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to shift between highly technical tasks and creative tasks as needed.
