Driver – Office Vehicle Operations

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a reliable Driver to operate and maintain its office vehicles. The role supports the safe and efficient movement of staff, documents, and equipment while upholding IOM’s standards of confidentiality and security.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned IOM office vehicle(s) to official destinations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks (tires, brakes, oil, belts) and arrange minor repairs.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and serviced according to scheduled intervals.
• Maintain accurate logs, monthly mileage and fuel consumption reports.
• Secure spare parts inventory and conduct monthly stock counts.
• Plan the most direct and safe routes using available roads.
• Transport officials, handle airport immigration and customs formalities as needed.
• Collect and deliver mail, documents, and parcels to offices, post offices, government agencies, UN partners, and project sites.

• Commitment to using the vehicle solely for authorized official business.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
• Awareness of security considerations and readiness to mitigate potential threats during transport.
