Drupal Web Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a talented and detail‑oriented Drupal Web Developer to join our remote team. You will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining complex web applications and digital platforms using Drupal, while collaborating closely with project managers, designers, and fellow developers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain complex Drupal websites and applications.
• Develop custom Drupal modules and themes using clean, secure PHP and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and open‑source applications into existing Drupal systems.
• Perform core updates, apply security patches, and ensure module compatibility.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimisation to achieve high uptime and fast load times.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and support team members.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience developing and supporting Drupal‑based platforms (Drupal 9/10 preferred).
• Strong self‑motivation, excellent time‑management, and solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Drupal 9/10 development.
• PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Local development environments such as Docker.
• Headless/decoupled Drupal and automated testing.
