Electrical Works Manager – Large International Construction Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Works Manager to lead all on‑site electrical activities for a major international construction development in Benghazi, Libya. The project spans roughly 800,000 m² and includes extensive infrastructure, utility, and super‑structure works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical teams, subcontractors, and procurement for the entire project lifecycle.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of transformers, generators, MV/LV distribution networks, and low‑current systems.
• Monitor electrical load requirements, manage site energy demand, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Direct integration of CCTV, fire alarm, public address & voice evacuation, data & network, and communication systems.
• Participate in progress tracking, schedule adherence, and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary, on‑site camp environments.
• Strong command of English for technical communication.
