Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will work full‑time on‑site in Misrata and Benghazi, supporting the HR function of a fast‑growing construction machinery dealership. The role focuses on daily HR operations, employee record keeping, benefits administration, recruitment support and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR information systems.
• Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
• Implement HR policies and assist with performance management processes.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR‑related matters.
• Coordinate employee engagement, retention, and development activities.
• Collaborate with management to align HR practices with organizational objectives.

Required profile

• Strong background in generalist HR functions and HR management.
• Experience with HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management.
• Knowledge of Libyan labor laws and ability to ensure compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; professional HR certifications are a plus.
• Prior HR experience in industrial, construction or equipment sectors is beneficial.
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred.

• Strong command of MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Accurate data management and reporting capabilities.
