Humanitarian Mine Action Project Manager

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Humanitarian Mine Action Project Manager to lead Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) and Victim Assistance (VA) activities within the BRIDGE project in Libya. The role ensures technical quality, coordination with partners, and alignment with national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and monitor EORE, VA and Mine Action Advocacy activities across Libya.
• Provide technical supervision and capacity development for the EORE team.
• Manage the project budget, design and review Bills of Quantities, and report discrepancies.
• Oversee logistics, staff movements and procurement processes.
• Ensure activities respect priorities set by Libyan Mine Action Centre (LibMAC) and donors.
• Maintain and update SOPs, Training Management Plans and workplans.
• Serve as the focal point for consortium coordination and high‑level liaison with government and humanitarian actors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian mine action, disarmament or related security sectors.
• Strong project management and coordination skills in multi‑partner environments.
• Ability to work with national and international standards and SOPs.
• Experience managing budgets, logistics and procurement in humanitarian contexts.
