Information Management Officer – Humanitarian Mine Action

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking an Information Management Officer to support the Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) component of the BRIDGE project in Libya. The role focuses on managing, analysing, and disseminating data related to mine action activities and the populations of concern, ensuring high‑quality information for evidence‑based humanitarian response.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data collection tools and methodologies in collaboration with the Project Manager and team.
• Design, maintain, and analyse databases, including the IMSMA system and the Explosive Ordnance casualties database.
• Conduct weekly data quality checks, validate entries, and follow up on missing information.
• Produce reports, charts, and infographics for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality protocols.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian information management or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple datasets.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with field and programme staff.
