Piping Supervisor – Aviation Fuel Infrastructure Project

About the role

ISS International S.p.A. is seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor for an aviation fuel infrastructure EPC project in Misrata, Libya. The role involves overseeing the construction of underground and above‑ground fuel distribution and aircraft refuelling piping networks, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise piping fabrication, erection and installation activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, foremen and site personnel and verify compliance with approved P&IDs, isometric drawings and layouts.
• Monitor welding, fit‑up, NDT, hydro‑testing, flushing, reinstatement and mechanical completion tasks.
• Ensure material identification, preservation and traceability.
• Synchronise daily activities with Construction, QA/QC, HSE and other disciplines.
• Track work progress, report delays or technical issues and support progress meetings.
• Prepare and close test packs, punch lists and mechanical completion dossiers.
• Guarantee safe execution according to the approved construction sequence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor on EPC projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, fuel storage or similar sectors.
• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, installation, welding, NDT and pressure‑testing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, general arrangements and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with mechanical completion, test packs, punch‑list management and construction quality documentation.
• Experience supervising multinational piping subcontractor teams.
• Good command of English; French is an advantage.
• EU citizenship required for mobilization and security reasons.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Libya.
