Procurement Chief (Electrical Engineer) – Libya Project

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Chief with an electrical engineering background to lead the procurement of electrical systems for a large‑scale superstructure project in Libya. The role combines strategic planning, supplier management and technical oversight to ensure timely delivery of compliant materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed procurement schedules aligned with construction priorities.
• Identify and qualify suppliers, conducting both technical and commercial evaluations.
• Review technical specifications and verify that purchased electrical materials meet project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Design Office, Technical Office, site teams and planning department to synchronize deliveries.
• Monitor logistics, delivery timelines and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Track procurement status, report risks and propose mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of procurement experience, preferably in large‑scale electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement practices.
• Fluent English.
