Procurement Chief (Electrical Engineer) – Libya Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Chief with an electrical engineering background to lead procurement activities for a large‑scale superstructure project in Libya. The role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing the acquisition of electrical systems and related materials.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed procurement schedules aligned with construction priorities.
• Identify and qualify suppliers, conducting both technical and commercial evaluations.
• Review technical specifications to ensure purchased items meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with Design Office, Technical Office, site teams, and planning departments to monitor deliveries and logistics.
• Track procurement status, report risks, and propose mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of procurement experience, preferably in large electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement practices.
• Fluent English.
