Procurement Manager

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for a major EPC project in Benghazi, Libya. The role will oversee procurement, subcontracting, expediting and logistics to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all procurement activities and resources across disciplines (procurement, subcontracting, expediting, logistics) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate continuously with Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Quality, and Stores departments.
• Ensure compliance with commercial, contractual, and legal requirements for all procurement transactions.
• Develop procurement strategies and conduct commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors and third parties.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to Archirodon’s procurement procedures, policies and governance frameworks.
• Oversee vendor assessment processes and supplier performance management.
• Manage and develop the Project Procurement Team (procurement engineers, subcontract engineers, procurement officers, purchasers, logistics personnel).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
• Diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (advantage).
• Minimum 9 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Procurement Manager.
• Previous experience on marine or civil infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Procurement of construction materials and equipment (concrete, steel, quarry materials).
• Use of ERP systems and procurement‑related software.
• Vendor assessment and supplier performance management.
