QA/QC Inspector – Aviation Fuel Infrastructure Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to join an international EPC construction project in Misrata, Libya, focused on aviation fuel distribution and aircraft refuelling infrastructure. The role involves ensuring that all construction activities, materials and documentation meet approved procedures, technical specifications, applicable codes and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of piping, mechanical and related construction activities.
• Verify compliance with Inspection and Test Plans, drawings, specifications and quality procedures.
• Review material certificates, ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Inspect fit‑up, welding, NDT, pressure testing, flushing, reinstatement and mechanical completion.
• Coordinate hold points with construction teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality records and supporting documentation.
• Identify non‑conformities, manage NCRs and monitor punch‑list items.
• Support preparation of test packs, mechanical completion dossiers and final quality documentation.
• Ensure calibration and control of measuring and inspection equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector on EPC projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, fuel storage or similar sectors.
• Strong background in piping and mechanical inspection activities.
• Good knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, material traceability, hydro‑testing and mechanical completion documentation.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO and relevant EN standards.
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometric drawings and technical specifications.
• EU citizenship required for mobilization and security reasons.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Libya.
