Senior PHP Laravel Developer

About the role

INGOT is looking for a senior‑level PHP Laravel developer to design, build and maintain back‑end solutions for web platforms and mobile applications. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with front‑end and UX teams to deliver high‑performing, user‑centric products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain advanced web‑based applications and backend systems using Laravel.
• Design, integrate and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between services.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications for speed, security and scalability.
• Participate in the full application lifecycle from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best‑practice standards.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a coding bootcamp or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a PHP Laravel developer.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
