Telecommunications Engineer

About the role

The company, a specialist in telecommunications solutions, is seeking a qualified Telecommunications Engineer or Technician to join its technical team in Tripoli. The role involves hands‑on work in the field, supporting both network infrastructure and SCADA projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain various telecommunications systems.
• Execute and follow up on technical projects on‑site.
• Provide technical support to clients and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Coordinate with technical and administrative teams to ensure high‑quality project execution.

Required profile

• Practical experience designing, installing, and managing communication networks.
• Experience with telephone exchange systems, including IP‑PBX/PBX.
• Knowledge of wireless devices and radio communication systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical faults and deliver effective solutions.
• Proficiency in computer use and technical reporting; good command of English is a plus.
• SCADA experience: installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance; ability to design and implement SCADA solutions, program PLC and RTU units, create HMI screens, and conduct FAT & SAT testing.
