Commercial Manager – Grocery Division

About the role

Presto, Libya’s leading food and grocery delivery platform, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead its Grocery Division. You will shape the commercial strategy, drive profitability, and strengthen supplier partnerships while delivering an exceptional shopping experience for thousands of daily customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the division’s profit and loss, monitor margins, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop dynamic pricing strategies that balance profitability with market competitiveness.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, distributors, and exclusive agents to secure optimal terms and volume discounts.
• Oversee inventory planning to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Analyze category performance and customer demand to optimize product assortment and in‑app merchandising.
• Design and evaluate promotional campaigns that boost sales without eroding margins.
• Monitor competitor activities and leverage market insights for strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present commercial performance reports and growth recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial management, retail, FMCG, e‑commerce, or grocery operations.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and category management.
• Strong analytical, financial, and leadership abilities.
