IP Manager - Project Management

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding, the Group's air, ocean and road freight specialist, is looking for an IP Manager in Tripoli, Libya. The role contributes to the design and implementation of the project management strategy so that major and complex projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standard.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the project management strategy for major and complex projects and programs
• Develop, prioritize and submit project plans, budgets and methodologies
• Plan and ensure delivery of major projects on time and on budget, within quality standards
• Draft and control the project budget and manage project expenditure
• Lead pipeline prioritization, review project management and monitor project progress and status
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation actions in a timely manner
• Re-evaluate project goals periodically and align them with concurrent projects
• Analyze customer requirements and propose solutions, analyze business processes and recommend alternatives
• Advise on technical and business process topics and administer an effective governance structure
• Provide targeted training on project management topics and tools
• Influence policies and practices, build relationships with business leaders, coordinate third parties such as external service providers and advise customers and stakeholders
• Manage experienced professionals who work with latitude and independence

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• More than 6 years of experience
