Senior Cost Accountant

About the role

A leading Group of Companies in Tripoli is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance leadership team, working directly with Board Members and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial and management reports.
• Produce financial analysis for the Board and senior management.
• Monitor costs, budgets, and overall financial performance.
• Support management in financial planning and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Cost Accountant or Senior Accountant.
• Strong background in budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience leading and managing accounting teams.
• Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports for Board‑level audiences.
• Experience within a group of companies (highly preferred).
• Experience in Libya or North Africa (an advantage).
