About the role
A leading Group of Companies in Tripoli is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance leadership team, working directly with Board Members and senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Lead and supervise the accounting team.
- Deliver accurate, timely financial and management reports.
- Produce financial analysis for the Board and senior management.
- Monitor costs, budgets, and overall financial performance.
- Support management in financial planning and decision‑making.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Senior Cost Accountant or Senior Accountant.
- Strong background in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Experience leading and managing accounting teams.
- Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports for Board‑level audiences.
- Experience within a group of companies (highly preferred).
- Experience in Libya or North Africa (an advantage).
