Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead the development and management of project schedules for large‑scale Oil & Gas capital projects. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Perform critical‑path analysis, schedule forecasting and progress tracking.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and implement recovery plans.
• Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction and operations.
• Prepare schedule reports, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support integrated project controls, resource planning and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of project planning and scheduling experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6, scheduling methodologies and critical‑path analysis.
• Experience with capital projects, project controls and schedule risk management.
• PMP, PMI‑CP or Primavera P6 certification is an advantage.
