Sales Manager - Construction Machinery

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our construction machinery business across Libya. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, build strong client relationships, and ensure profitability in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies throughout Libya.
• Identify, approach and negotiate with potential clients, managing contract discussions and closures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
• Conduct regular market and customer visits to uncover new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Analyze sales performance and key KPIs, proposing corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Gather market intelligence on customer insights, competitor activity, pricing trends and feedback to support regional strategies.
• Perform ongoing market and competitor research for business planning.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing to ensure timely collection and healthy cash flow.
• Take ownership of regional sales profitability and achieve or exceed annual sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3‑5 years of sales experience in Libya, preferably within the construction machinery sector.
• Strong familiarity with the Libyan market; experience in other North African countries is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Proven negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
