Technical Sales Executive – Protective Coatings

About the role

The Technical Sales Executive will drive sales of protective coating solutions across Libya’s oil & gas, marine, steel, cement and power sectors. Reporting to the division manager, you will build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities and ensure our products are specified correctly on projects.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell protective coating products to consultants, contractors, owners and key clients.
• Conduct client visits, technical presentations and follow‑ups.
• Monitor project specifications and ensure product compliance.
• Prepare quotations, invoices and support pricing strategies.
• Manage inventory coordination with internal teams.
• Track market opportunities, competitor activity and customer requirements within assigned territories.
• Provide after‑sales support and maintain long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in technical sales of coatings, paints or industrial products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Good understanding of the Libyan industrial and oil & gas market is an advantage.
