Customer Service Specialist – French Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Customer Service Specialist to join our remote call‑center team supporting an online travel platform. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, managing cases, and providing first‑level assistance to homeowners using the booking system. You will work from home on a flexible schedule, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls and manage related cases.
• Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners using the booking platform.
• Provide timely assistance, especially during escalations and complaint handling.
• Log, classify, and follow up on all interactions, maintaining accurate records.
• Analyze call data and share customer feedback with relevant teams.
• Stay updated on process and platform changes and communicate them clearly.

Required profile

• Professional‑level French (C2) and fluent English.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call‑center environment.
• Ability to multitask between live calls and case handling.
• Strong computer literacy and experience working online.
• Clear, empathetic communication under pressure.
• Availability to work CET schedule, including mandatory weekend shifts.

• Zendesk or similar ticketing platform.
• Slack or other online collaboration tools.
• Salesforce and standard office applications.
• Windows 11 or later, macOS 14 or later.
• Stable broadband connection with specified hardware specs.
