Administrative Project Assistant (Recovery and Solutions)

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an Administrative Project Assistant to support its Recovery and Solutions (RS) unit in Libya. Working under the supervision of the RS Programme Coordinator and the RS Project Officer, the incumbent will provide essential administrative, logistical, and operational assistance to ensure the smooth implementation of RS projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing routine administrative and financial documents such as purchase requisitions, payment requests, invitation letters, and related supporting documentation.
- Support the organization of meetings and logistical arrangements for RS activities.
- Coordinate documentation and routine follow‑up of RS projects in line with established procedures and guidance.
Required profile
- Experience in providing administrative, logistical, or operational support in an international or humanitarian context.
- Ability to work under the general supervision of a Programme Coordinator and direct supervision of a Project Officer.
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to follow established procedures and guidance.
- Good written communication skills in English.
