Brand Manager - Oncology

About the role

Join AstraZeneca as a Brand Manager for Oncology in Libya, leading the execution of marketing strategies that drive patient identification, access, and treatment outcomes across the oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute oncology marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver promotional initiatives and product launches.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key external experts, and oncology stakeholders.
• Plan and execute congresses, scientific meetings, speaker programs, and educational initiatives.
• Create and manage promotional materials while ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage brand budgets, monitor ROI, and oversee vendor partnerships and contracts.
• Analyze market dynamics and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Support diagnostic strategy development and optimize companion diagnostic readiness.
• Drive capability building through training programs and speaker development.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a managerial marketing role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of marketing achievements and new product launches.
• Healthcare academic degree (life sciences, pharmacy, medical or related).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to engage KOLs and HCPs.
• Project management expertise and flexibility to travel as needed.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
