Commercial Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Analyst supports the Head of Commercial Costing and Projects (CCP) by providing high‑quality financial data, costing models and profitability insights that drive commercial decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed costings for RFQs, tenders and pricing requests, ensuring alignment with the latest standard costs and assumptions.
• Build, maintain and update customer cost models and pricing structures, supporting sales negotiations.
• Produce profitability reviews across products, customers, market segments and regions, identifying margin erosion drivers and pricing gaps.
• Track price increases and cost‑recovery actions, supporting targeted recovery campaigns.
• Support adherence to commercial and pricing processes, develop standard methodologies and improve data quality and auditability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or finance roles.
• Experience in financial modelling, data analysis and business partnering within a manufacturing environment.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
