About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Data Collector to support its emergency health response in Libya. Reporting to the Monitoring and CRA Senior Officer, you will gather and manage data from project sites, ensuring high-quality information for monitoring, evaluation, and community feedback activities.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in data collection activities, including monitoring and evaluation assessments, focus group discussions (FGDs) and key informant interviews (KIIs).
- Conduct field visits to project sites to collect and verify data.
- Maintain data quality during collection and entry.
- Support regular Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) sessions, surveys and capacity‑building activities.
- Assist in data analysis, interpretation and reporting of daily findings.
- Adhere to data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in field‑level data collection and basic data analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ICT tools for digital data collection and analysis.
