Driver – Benghazi

About the role

The IFRC Libya Delegation is seeking a reliable Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services. Working within the Administration Unit, the Driver will support staff, visitors, and operational activities while ensuring the delegation’s fleet remains road‑worthy and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, coolant, battery, brake fluid, lights, indicators, and fan belt tension.
• Ensure each vehicle is equipped with a first‑aid kit and a list of emergency numbers.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance and coordinate repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Provide transportation for staff, visitors, and operational missions as required.
• Adhere to IFRC policies, safety standards, and any additional duties assigned by the Finance and Administration Delegate.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle types used.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliable service delivery.
• Willingness to work onsite at the IFRC delegation in Benghazi.
