Electrical Works Chief – Libya Project

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Works Chief to lead all electrical construction activities for a large‑scale, high‑standard superstructure project in Libya. The role involves managing on‑site installations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Manage on‑site electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, security, communication, and grounding systems.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors, monitor performance, and resolve technical issues.
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, ensuring alignment with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
- Plan and oversee testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Collaborate closely with BIM and Design Office teams to resolve design clashes and follow the latest approved models.
- Prepare progress reports, monitor material needs, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical construction on large‑scale projects such as hotels, malls, hospitals, or high‑rise buildings.
- Proven track record in subcontractor management and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) – mandatory.
