Fixed Assets & Expenses Accountant

About the role

The Fixed Assets & Expenses Accountant will join Presto’s finance team in Tripoli, overseeing the company’s fixed‑asset register and ensuring all operational and capital expenditures are recorded accurately. You will support month‑end and year‑end closing, prepare reconciliations and assist auditors with documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the fixed‑asset ledger, including acquisitions, disposals and depreciation schedules.
• Monitor operational and capital expenditures, applying the correct accounting treatment.
• Prepare regular reconciliations and reports on fixed assets and expense accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, financial regulations and audit requirements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to assets and expenses.
• Provide accurate documentation and reports during internal or external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Experience in fixed‑asset and expense accounting preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial closing procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
