Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). In this context the organisation seeks a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to embed gender equality and social inclusion throughout programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to the opportunities generated by Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across all programme actions.
• Promote inclusive participation of diverse stakeholders and monitor gender‑responsive implementation.
• Develop and apply gender‑analysis tools, sex‑disaggregated indicators and communication strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis and stakeholder participation.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy and experience working in Africa is an asset.
