Remote Video Game Composer (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Video Game Composer to create dynamic, immersive scores for our upcoming titles. Working remotely, you will define the sonic identity of each game, aligning music with narrative, characters, and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient tracks to combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive and adaptive music layers that react to player actions and changing gameplay scenarios.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music supports mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) ensuring seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, exporting and labeling files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools.
• Experience integrating music in Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Deep understanding of music theory, orchestration, and high‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
