Sales Engineer – CAT Machines & Power Systems

About the role

FL Tractors, the exclusive Caterpillar dealer in Libya, is expanding its sales team. We are looking for motivated Sales Engineers to promote CAT machines and power solutions across a range of industries. The role combines technical knowledge with customer‑focused sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for CAT equipment and power systems.
• Promote Caterpillar products and generator solutions to customers in various sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals that meet client needs.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site visits, product demonstrations and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in technical sales, heavy equipment, generators or industrial products is preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong customer‑oriented mindset and good command of English.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel throughout Libya.
