Senior Non-Key Expert – Macroeconomic Reform

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Senior Non-Key Expert in Macroeconomic Reform to provide high‑quality technical assistance for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project. The role focuses on macroeconomic and fiscal analysis, structural reforms, economic resilience and evidence‑based policy development in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct macroeconomic and fiscal analysis to support policy dialogue and programme implementation.
• Prepare economic assessments, policy analyses, background papers and concrete recommendations.
• Assist in designing and evaluating structural reform programmes and competitiveness initiatives.
• Contribute to evidence‑based economic policy development and resilience strategies for Egyptian partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, macroeconomics, public finance, development economics or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, including analysis of macroeconomic, fiscal and structural reform policies.
• Proven ability to prepare high‑quality economic assessments and policy recommendations.
• Fluent English (C1 level); Arabic highly desirable.
