Senior Production Engineer (Mid‑Career) – Libya

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Production Engineer to join our Product and Service Delivery team in Libya. The role will design and optimise technical job plans, provide real‑time field support, and drive continuous improvement across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver optimized technical job designs for assigned product lines.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery while managing operational risk.
• Identify and implement cost‑effective techniques and value‑added services.
• Provide real‑time operational support throughout the service delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to refine designs and mitigate risks.
• Assist PSD managers during execution, adapting designs to changing conditions.
• Support incident response, capture lessons learned, and apply them to future designs.
• Analyse job execution versus design and document best practices.
• Contribute to Cost of Service Delivery (COSD) management and resource optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Mid‑career experience in production engineering, service delivery or oilfield operations.
• Strong knowledge of technical job design, risk management and operational execution.
• Proven ability to support field operations and make real‑time decisions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, field‑oriented environment in Libya.
