Software Officer

About the role

The Software Officer will join Alqudra’s IT team in Benghazi, providing day‑to‑day support for the company’s software landscape. This full‑time, office‑based position ensures system security, database integrity and smooth operation of critical applications across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support the organization’s software systems, including ERP platforms.
• Monitor system security and perform regular backups to protect data integrity.
• Administer databases, execute SQL queries, and resolve data‑related issues.
• Troubleshoot software problems, debug code, and coordinate with external vendors for resolutions.
• Provide technical assistance to various departments and ensure secure access to corporate applications.
• Document procedures, incidents and system configurations for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with software development or support roles is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
