Supply Chain Associate – Logistics

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support its logistics and procurement activities in Libya. The role contributes to the efficient delivery of humanitarian assistance by managing procurement, vendor relations, and asset tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement and Logistics Officer in day‑to‑day procurement and logistics operations.
• Support vendor management, including sourcing, contracting, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain asset management records and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on logistics activities and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with national and international institutions to facilitate smooth supply chain processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with five years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, and working with vendors or service providers.
• Familiarity with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules is an advantage.
• Fluency in English (required).
