Sourcing Specialist - Benghazi

About the role

Baker Hughes, an energy technology company operating in over 120 countries, is looking for a Sourcing Specialist in Benghazi. The role supports sourcing operations through process ownership, continuous improvement initiatives and project execution, working with sourcing teams and business stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support sourcing-related ERP systems, processes and tools
• Review existing sourcing procedures and identify opportunities for optimization
• Develop and implement proposals to improve sourcing approaches, methods, procedures and workflows
• Support special sourcing initiatives and operational improvement projects
• Collaborate with sourcing teams and stakeholders to coordinate sourcing activities
• Handle communication with colleagues and business partners on sourcing processes, improvements and project deliverables
• Contribute to sourcing projects and cross-functional initiatives, supporting work plans with timelines of one to three months
• Monitor project outcomes and promote best practices and operational efficiencies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• 4-6 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field
• Experience supporting projects and driving operational initiatives
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
