Junior Accountant

About the role

Space Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its financial operations in Tripoli. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions, maintain organized financial records, and provide reliable information for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare and maintain accounting records, invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Follow up on due payments, assist with fund collection, and coordinate with customers or internal teams.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries.
• Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of company spending.
• Support payroll, petty cash, and internal financial procedures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and local regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect financial documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and confidential financial files.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a technology or services company is a plus.
