Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support the implementation of supply chain activities for its Libya Mission. Working under the Supply Chain Officer and in close collaboration with project managers, the associate will help ensure the efficient flow of goods and services that support IOM’s migration programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring procurement and logistics operations for mission projects.
• Maintain inventory records, track shipments and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, contracts and related documentation in accordance with IOM policies.
• Support the Head of Supply Chain unit by providing regular reports on supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and external partners to address operational challenges.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement and Supply, Management or a related field with at least two years of relevant professional experience; alternatively, secondary education with four years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and adhere to UN‑based standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
