Recruiting Coordinator – Oil & Gas Sector

About the role

ALTAMKEEN, a Libyan management consulting firm, is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support its oil and gas projects. You will streamline the end‑to‑end recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and acquisition of top talent for a dynamic sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies.
• Write and publish engaging job descriptions on multiple platforms.
• Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interview schedules.
• Conduct phone, online, and in‑person interviews.
• Maintain accurate records of interviews and hiring outcomes.
• Prepare onboarding materials and lead new‑employee orientations.
• Manage confidential files and HR databases with discretion.
• Oversee email and telephone communications related to recruitment.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and corporate events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Business Administration.
• Basic knowledge of social media, HR databases, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with HR practices, policies, and various interview formats.
• Strong multitasking, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Leadership qualities, adaptability, and a commitment to self‑development.
