Assembly Maintenance and Overhaul Manager

About the role

Baker Hughes, a leader in the oil and gas industry, is looking for an AMO Manager to lead its assembly maintenance and overhaul team. The company maintains and supports pressure pumping equipment and services at customer sites, and the role sits within the Operations function. The internal title for the position is Services Experienced Professional - ARMO Management.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to developing an annual operational plan for the team's activities
• Suggest improvements to products, processes and procedures
• Maintain assigned trucks and oilfield surface equipment related to cementing, coiled tubing and stimulation operations
• Facilitate third-party repairs of equipment when needed
• Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems
• Supervise, mentor and lead technicians in the absence of the supervisor or manager
• Maintain equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in AMO and repair operations
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong experience in pressure pumping and/or TRS equipment, including cementing, coiled tubing, power tongs, CRTs and hydraulic handling systems
• Proven experience with asset reliability, preventive maintenance and CMMS/SAP maintenance systems
• Strong team management, leadership and coaching skills, plus resource planning and workshop scheduling expertise
