Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Expert (Consultant)

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking qualified Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts to join a pool of on‑demand consultants for the EU‑MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project. Selected experts will support private‑sector development, market analysis and sustainable value‑chain initiatives across the EU‑MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clean‑technology markets, business ecosystems and value chains.
• Map companies, investors, technology providers and other relevant market actors.
• Identify business, trade and investment opportunities across EU‑MENA clean‑technology value chains.
• Support private‑sector engagement, business‑to‑business cooperation and SME/ start‑up market entry.
• Assess supply‑chain, local‑content and industrial development potential.
• Facilitate cooperation among companies, public authorities, investors and research institutions.
• Conduct market studies, value‑chain analyses and business opportunity assessments.
• Assist with business matchmaking, investment promotion and stakeholder engagement activities.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in business, economics, engineering, innovation, international trade, energy or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in clean technology, private‑sector development, value‑chain development or investment promotion.
• Experience with renewable energy, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, storage or sustainable industry is highly desirable.
• Experience working with private companies, SMEs, start‑ups, investors or business associations.
• Knowledge of EU‑MENA trade, investment and business cooperation is a strong asset.
• Experience with EU‑funded programmes, international organisations or development finance institutions is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English; French and/or Arabic are considered strong assets.
