Commercial Manager – Grocery Division

About the role

Presto, Libya’s leading food and grocery delivery platform, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead its Grocery Division. You will be responsible for shaping the commercial strategy, driving profitability, and strengthening supplier partnerships to sustain market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the division’s profit and loss (P&L) performance, monitoring gross margins and commercial costs.
• Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies that balance profitability with market competitiveness.
• Lead strategic negotiations with suppliers, distributors and exclusive agents to secure optimal purchasing terms.
• Oversee inventory planning to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Analyze category performance and customer demand trends to optimise product assortment and in‑app merchandising.
• Design, approve and evaluate promotional campaigns to maximise sales and protect margins.
• Monitor competitor activities and leverage market insights for strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present commercial performance reports and growth recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial management, retail, FMCG, e‑commerce or grocery operations.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and category management.
• Strong analytical and financial management capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
