Electrical Works Chief – Libya Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Works Chief to lead all electrical construction activities on a large‑scale, high‑standard superstructure project in Libya. Reporting to the project management team, you will ensure that all electrical works are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑site installation of power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, security, communication and grounding systems.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors, monitor their performance and resolve technical issues.
• Review and integrate electrical shop drawings, ensuring coordination with architectural, structural and mechanical disciplines.
• Plan and oversee testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities and handle handover to the client.
• Collaborate closely with BIM and Design Office teams to resolve design clashes and follow the latest approved models.
• Prepare progress reports, track material requirements, identify risks and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical construction on large‑scale projects such as hotels, malls, hospitals or high‑rise buildings.
• Proven track record in subcontractor management and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) and preferably experience on international projects.
