Events & Exhibitions Director

About the role

The Events & Exhibitions Director will lead the planning, development and execution of corporate events, brand activations, grand openings, exhibitions and investor engagements for Brandzo’s retail, entertainment, hospitality and mixed‑use projects. Based in Benghazi, this senior role shapes event strategies that boost market presence, drive customer engagement and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute large‑scale launches, grand opening ceremonies and destination experiences.
• Develop creative brand activation concepts and experiential marketing campaigns.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, procurement processes and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate suppliers, production partners and venue preparation to ensure flawless delivery.
• Organise investor‑focused presentations, networking events, business forums and strategic partnership gatherings.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, business development, operations and executive leadership teams.

Required profile

• Strong event management, exhibition planning and brand activation expertise.
• Proven track record developing event strategies, grand opening programs and customer engagement initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of event logistics, supplier coordination, production planning and venue management.
• Experience handling event budgets, procurement, timelines and contract administration.
