Fine Dining Bartender

About the role

A Bartender is needed in a fine dining setting in Tripoli, reporting to the Bar Supervisor or Restaurant Manager. The role delivers exceptional beverage service, maintains bar operations and contributes to guest satisfaction and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks by approved recipes, with accurate, timely service
• Recommend drinks and pairings based on guest preferences
• Greet guests courteously, handle their questions and special requests, and maintain a welcoming bar atmosphere
• Set up the bar before service, keep it clean and organised, monitor stock and help with inventory counts
• Promote premium drinks and specialty cocktails through upselling and support beverage promotions and events
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies and hygiene, safety and sanitation standards, and follow cash handling and billing procedures

Required profile

• High school diploma; hospitality certification or bartending certification preferred
• Minimum 2-4 years of bartender experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel, upscale lounge or similar venue
• Experience with cocktail preparation and beverage presentation
• Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage
