HCM Consultant – HRIS Implementation Specialist

About the role

DataTech is looking for an experienced HCM Consultant to join its HR department in Libya. You will lead end‑to‑end HCM system implementations, provide training, and ensure that solutions comply with local payroll and labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HCM software implementations using the ACTIVATE Methodology.
• Conduct client consultations to identify business and HR requirements.
• Analyse, document and optimise HCM business processes.
• Configure and customise HRIS/HCM platforms to meet client specifications.
• Deliver training sessions for end‑users and administrators.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows and user manuals.
• Ensure compliance with Libyan payroll regulations and labour laws.
• Support system integration, troubleshoot issues and recommend technology platforms.
• Participate in IT governance and HR data‑privacy processes.
• Collaborate with management to align system capabilities with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of consulting experience.
• Proven experience with HCM/HRIS software.
• Strong understanding of HCM business processes.
• In‑depth knowledge of Libyan payroll and labour law.
• Experience leading training sessions and workshops.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel as required.
